Description
I'm selling my smokehouse and BBQ street food business equipment, we have been trading for 4 years. It runs mainly from an Ifor Williams 510 XL horsebox, fully converted to a catering trailer and fitted with a tracker. But also comes with a gazebo set up which can operate seperately. Lots of equipment included. Two ways to buy: I'm happy to sell the business as a whole for an additional cost to include, contacts for events and pop ups and socials and website and handover, or all the equipment together without the branding/business side. The business is owner-operated, with a small amount of extra staff only for bigger events, so wage costs are very low. The menu is American smokehouse BBQ: smoked brisket, smoked pulled pork, wild boar hot dogs, ribs etc. I run a set menu for pop-ups and a larger BBQ menu for weddings and private parties.

Buyer checks: Catering van/trailer
- Check the chassis and floor for rot, corrosion and soft spots, and confirm the axles, tyres and brakes have been inspected.
- Confirm tow weight and nose weight against what your vehicle and licence actually allow.
- Ask for a current electrical installation certificate, and check the consumer unit, RCD and habitation wiring.
- If gas is fitted, ask for a current Gas Safe certificate covering both the appliances and the LPG system.
- Check the water tanks and pump, and that fresh and waste systems hold pressure and drain cleanly.
- Confirm road legality: lighting, indicators, plating, and whether it has ever been registered.
