Selling your kit
- List it. Add photos, set your price, and pick a category. CaterBot can suggest a title and description from your photos so it takes a few minutes.
- Choose how to sell. Fixed price, or let buyers make you an offer.
- Buyers find it. They search by keyword and location, or browse by category.
- Agree the sale. Buyers message you on CaterBids to ask questions and agree a price. You deal with them directly.
- Collection or pallet delivery. Arrange collection with the buyer. If your listing offers Pallet delivery (with Interparcel), the buyer books and pays Interparcel directly: CaterBids doesn't deliver, book or charge for delivery.
Your first listing is free during our launch offer (one per account, first 100 listings only), then from £5 for 30 days. No commission and no final value fee. Whatever you agree with the buyer, you keep.
Want more buyers to see it? Feature your listing for £4.99 for 7 days or £14.99 for 30 days. Featured puts your listing on the homepage and first in search results and category pages. Featured listings are also included in our short videos on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
Selling regularly? The Trade plan is £49.99 a month for up to 500 live listings, with bulk upload.
Buying kit
- Search new and used catering equipment, vans, trailers and catering businesses from UK sellers.
- Save listings and searches with a free account so you can come back later.
- Message the seller to ask questions, ask for more photos, or make an offer.
- Check before you buy: model, condition, power supply, and a current gas or electrical certificate where it applies.
- Collect it, or, where the listing offers Pallet delivery (with Interparcel), book and pay Interparcel directly.

Read our buyer and seller safety guides before you agree a sale. Never pay outside an arrangement you’re comfortable with, and inspect bigger items before paying where you can.
